On November 2, we gathered at Pera Museum with approximately 200 participants to honor the life and legacy of Jane Goodall. The Jane Goodall Memorial Gathering created a shared space to nurture hope, strengthen solidarity, and continue walking the path she opened.

All organizational processes were led by Roots & Shoots Türkiye youth, reflecting the movement’s youth-driven approach and commitment to collective action. The program brought together voices from different backgrounds to reflect on Jane’s life, values, and lasting impact.

Young people who had known Jane personally and those inspired by her legacy after her passing came together with a shared intention: to carry her story forward and keep hope alive through action.

Jane Goodall’s legacy continues to live on through young people working with purpose and determination.
