The Nature Festival, held annually at Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden and organized for the 13th time this year, brought together a wide range of activities aimed at fostering a deeper connection with nature and raising ecological awareness. Over the course of three days, approximately 15,000 visitors came together around themes of nature, ecology, and sustainable living.

As Roots & Shoots Türkiye, we took part in the festival with our “Get Inspired” workshop. Within the scope of the workshop, we engaged children in the “Nature Bingo” game, designed to encourage observing nature, recognizing living organisms in the surroundings, and exploring ecosystems. Through this activity, we aimed to support children in discovering the relationships between plants, animals, and natural elements in a fun and interactive way, while nurturing curiosity, careful observation, and a stronger connection with the natural world.
